Your journey starts with an early breakfast in Marrakech before departure to Ouarzazate. You will have to cross the hamlet of Toufliht, a magnificent marvel constructed with adobe between two mountains, still reflecting its typical Berber features. From a distance, you will see two more different hamlets. These are built of yellow stone, offering a magical view of the high Atlas Mountains.
You will continue your way towards the Tizin’tichka pass to reach the altitude of 2260m. You will be amazed by the panoramic view of an extraordinary mountainous landscape.
After a few hours’ drive, you are finally in Ouarzazate, the ultimate cinematographic city where dozens of international films have been shot, such as “The Laurence of Arabia”, “The Mummy”, “The Gladiator” .etc.. you will also discover two the most well-known kasbahs in the region, namely Ait Ben Haddou kasbah and Taourirt Kasbah. A moment of nostalgia and a step back in time to admire an incredible architecture, attesting to the talent of ancient craftsmen.
Your lunch break is a time when you will taste the delights of the Moroccan cuisine. After enjoying a succulent meal, you will start your journey back to Marrakech.
